For disciples of pop, The Holy Trinity is less an allusion to the father, son and holy ghost as much as it is a nod to Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, who had a particularly wild night out in 2006.

But are we about to lose our religion?

In a new interview with MTV Australia, Hilton says that the "Holy Trinity" (you can see the iconic photo on People) was actually originally intended to be a two-woman affair, and added the third wheel was not someone she originally hoped would come along.

"Actually it was just Brit and I out and [Lindsay] just like chased us to the car and got in," Hilton recounted. "She wasn't invited...You're not on the list."

The interviewer proceeded to say Lindsay appears to be doing well, to which Hilton said "Yeah, sure."

Hilton had previously posted a throwback to the "Holy Trinity" night in November, noting "11 years anniversary today since the first coming of The Holy Trinity!" with the photo above.

Lohan famously came to Hilton's defense the night of the 2006, and admonished an onslaught of paparazzi, but the two have since become Cold War enemies, and have routinely exchanged barbs in the press.
