Normally we don't say "yeah, throwing animals into water is cool" but in this case it's adorable!

 

Six lion cubs were born at the Smithsonian national zoo this year and four of them were required to take the swim test. The zoo did the test because they wanted to make sure that the cubs would be able to play near the water in their area in the zoo. If they were to fall into the water they wanted to be sure that they were able to swim.

Each test only took about thirty seconds and there were plenty of people watching to ensure the animal safety.
