Now if that isn't a redneck headline I don't know what is.

A 53-year-old man from Ludington was just sentenced to one year in jail for the incident that occurred in 2014.

MLive reports that Tyrone Gardner was grilling chicken when he stepped away for a few minutes. When he returned he saw that one of the pieces was missing. He assumed that his neighbor had stolen the missing chicken so he went over there and stabbed him in the leg with a pitchfork! Ouch!

Gardner skipped town within a few days of being charged but was caught and arrested in October.

A lesson can be taken from this story... whether or not the neighbor did take the chicken... you never mess with a redneck's meat.
