Man Charged With Lying to Police in Jeffrey Willis Case
A man has been arraigned and charged with obstruction of justice in connection with the investigation into accused killer Jeffrey Wills.
The judge told Kevin Bluhm, 47, that he's accused of giving police false statements about the last time he saw Willis, according to WZZM 13. Jail records indicate that Bluhm has been released on bond.
Bluhm was arrested on Friday, June 17 - the same day police returned to Willis' home to search an area of woods. Police had received a tip that Jessica Heeringa's body was there. Police say they did not find anything in the search.
Jeffrey Willis is charged with attempted kidnapping of a teenage girl back in April as well as the 2014 murder of Rebekah Bletsch. He has also been named as a person of interest in the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa from a gas station in 2013.
