Media HOODWINKED! Royal Crier Not So Royal!

Tony Appleton waltzed right up outside of St. Mary's hospital in London and announced the birth of the royal baby! However, he really shouldn't have done so because he doesn't even work for the royal family.

Dressed in all the official garments Appleton cried out that the Duchess of Cambridge had given birth. He says he had been tipped off by a reporter that Kate had finally had the baby.

Appleton is a crier, but not for the royal family nor London itself.

He claims he's a royal fanatic and that he once had an encounter with the queen as a child.

Most of American media believed Appleton to be a piece of the puzzle for the official birth announcement. CNN, Fox News and MSNBC all reported about him.
