Every week, The Humane Society of West Michigan brings in a new furry friend for me to meet and feature as "Wendy's Pet Of The Week". This week, Igot TWO new friends! I have to admit, I definitely more of a "dog person" than a "cat person", but these two cuties might have tipped the scale towards the feline side for me. Anthony and Miss LePew are just 2-months-old and are full of life and ready for a new, loving home. Tammy Hagedorn, Director of Development for the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought the kittens in and said that currently, they have over 125 kittens and cats in the shelter. It's very important to them to find forever homes for as many of those cats and kittens as they can as soon as possible.

To help out with that adoption initiative, the Humane Society will be running a special. Next weekend, July 12 and 13, ALL cats and kittens will be FREE!  But, the offer is only good next weekend, so plan accordingly.

To find out more about Anthony, Miss LePew, or just the Humane Society in general, check out their website, or just give them a call at 616-453-8900.
