Meet BB – Christine’s Pet of the Week!

OBSESSED is the word I've been using today to describe how I feel about 10-year-old BB. It's hard not to instantly fall in love with this cute little guy who you can adopt now at the Humane Society of West Michigan.

BB is a Dachshund with a few type of unknown mixes, maybe a Corgi though since he's got these short little legs. BB is such a love who will jump up (not high) and cuddle with you on the couch. He's got a great personality and is a very well-tempered, behaved dog. And because BB is 10, that makes him a part of the Silver Paws Society at the humane society which means he's FREE to adopt!

You can meet him at the Humane Society of West Michigan but be warned, you will leave with him because he is just that irresistible.

If you love animals but for whatever reason you can't adopt an animal at this time, or maybe you're not ready to make a commitment, consider becoming a foster pet parent. On March 13th, the Humane Society of West Michigan will be hosting a Foster Open House for those that would like more information on the program and what it entails to foster an animal.

Finally, can you believe Spring is almost here?!! I can't. But that means your kids will soon be on spring break and every year the Humane Society of West Michigan hosts spring break camps for kids. This year it will be from April 4th - 6th and for ages 7 to 11-years-old. At camp, kids will have a chance to play with all the animals and learn about the responsibilities of being a pet owner and of course crafts and games will be involved.
