Every week, the Humane Society of West Michigan brings in a new furry friend for me to hang out with for a bit, and to be named as “Wendy’s Pet Of The Week“! This week, Tammy from the Humane Society brought Bella in to visit me!

Bella is an adorable and sweet Miniature Pinscher who is seven years old and looking for a good home. Since Bella is technically a senior dog, she qualifies for a special club at the Humane Society called the "Silver Paws" club. Right now, all "Silver Paws" dogs are available FREE to the right person or family. Bella probably wouldn't be a great fit for a family with small children, but otherwise she would make a wonderful addition to any household.

In addition to the Silver Paws special going on right now at the Humane Society, there are a couple of other adoption specials.

Right now, dogs are “on sale” in a way. Throughout the month of January, all dogs adopted from the Humane Society are only $50 (this excludes puppies), which includes all of their shots and their spay/neuter. That’s $125 less than you would normally pay when adopting a dog  from the Humane Society.

In addition to the special on dogs, all cats are only $10 during the month of January (adoption fee includes spay/neuter and all vaccines). The new year is a great time to bring a new and loving family member into your home.
