If you feel like you can open up your heart and your home to three adorable bunnies then the 3 B's are your ladies!

Buffy, Biscotti & Breezy are 8-month-old Lion Head/Angora mixed rabbits who are all sisters! Keep in mind these rabbits have a lot of hair so you would have to upkeep with their grooming. While the ideal situation would be that they remain together... Biscotti is independent enough to where she can go out on her own. Whereas Buffy & Breezy are a little more attached to each other.

To kick off the Halloween season, the Humane Society of West Michigan is having a Howl N Boo event on Friday, October 13th. The event is for kids ages 5 through 12 and there will be different activities throughout the evening. You can find more information in the flyer below but you have to register your child(ren) by the day of the event. You can do so by e-mailing JordAnn at jbush@hewestmi.org.

Empty the Shelter is back in Michigan on Saturday, October 14th thanks to the BISSELL Pet Foundation they will be covering all adoption fees for adult animals (5+ months) at over 75 shelters around the state! BISSELL will also be providing all adopters with a packet to get everyone set up for success. Packets will include collars, leashes, coupons, pet information, etc.

Before the event, it's best to stop at the Humane Society of West Michigan to get pre-approved. Think of it like a "fast pass." You meet with the adoption counselor and get any questions you may have answered and then you get first dibs on the day of. Pre-approved adopters will be able to go into the Humane Society between 11a & 12p and then from 12p to 4p the shelter will be open to the public.
