Meet Christine's Pet of the Week

If you've been on the market for a cat, Lila Belle is on the market of a new home!

This 10-year-old domestic short hair (and adorable) cat came to the Humane Society of West Michigan as an owner surrender. She has been in and out of the shelter environment since March and is looking for her perfect home. She would do best as an only pet and is fee waived due to being a part of the Silver Paws program.

A new month also means a new adoption special at the Humane Society. Through August 31st, all long-term dogs (at the shelter for 1 month+) are $25. Get more details in the flyer below.

If you love animals and want to help out, the HSWM is looking for foster parent Fostering is always needed but especially during kitten season. The shelter environment can also be very stressful for dogs so having them in a foster home helps keep them happy and healthy. Get more info on how to get involved here.
