Wednesday is my favorite day of the week. Not only does it mark the halfway point of the work week, but it's the day every week that I get to meet Wendy's Pet Of The Week! This week, Jen from the Humane Society of West Michigan brought Coco in to visit!

Coco was surrendered by his owner who had to move into an assisted living facility and wasn’t able to keep him with her. Even though Coco's 10-years-old, he’s very healthy and active and would feel right at home in a quiet home with older children. Also, because Coco is a "senior", even though he doesn't look it, he's actually FREE to the right owner

Jen also mentioned that because this is National Dog Week, all dogs 4-months and older are only $50 through Saturday. Of course, all dogs that you adopt from the Humane Society are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and microchipped!

Just log on to Humane Society of West Michigan's website for complete information, or call them up at 616-453-8900.
