Every Wednesday the Humane Society Of West Michigan brings in a new "Pet Of The Week" for me to meet and instantly fall in love with. This week, Carlita brought in Colby the cat. Find out more about Colby after the jump!

Colby is a 5-year old golden-tabby (orange kitty, in layman's terms).  He’s a little on the chunky side, and just as sweet as can be.  He'd be the perfect pet for the right home.

To adopt Colby or any pet at the Humane Society, check out their website, or you can call them at 616-453-8900 to begin the process.

Carlita also talked with me about something fun for the kids to do over Spring Break!

The Humane Society holds a “mini-camp” for Spring Break for the kids.  It’s April 3 – 5, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and kids will be able to learn about an interact with many of the pets up for adoption at the Humane Society. More details are available on their website.
