Every week, the Humane Society of West Michigan brings in a new furry friend for me to hang out with for a bit, and to be named as “Wendy’s Pet Of The Week“! This week, Carlita from the Humane Society brought Harry to visit!

Harry is a Harlequin Bunny, is just under one-year-old, and is looking for a family to play with. Bunnies are very social, trainable, and make wonderful additions to a family. You can call the Humane Society for more information Harry at (616) 453-8900 (extension 200, for adoptions).

This Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, the Humane Society will be holding a seminar for those who are dealing with having lost, or having to put down, a pet.  It’s such a tough situation for everyone involved and is often difficult to handle. This seminar will serve as an opportunity to get together with others and share experiences, meet with experts, and learn how to work through the pain.  Simply call 453-8900 to let them know you are planning to attend.

As always, you can find out more about Harry, The Humane Society itself, and the upcoming seminar on the Humane Society of West Michigan's website.
