It’s Wednesday and that means that another furry friend from the Humane Society of West Michigan comes in to hang out with me. This week, Nicole Cook brought in Jake to visit.

Jake is a Rottweiler who is without a doubt 100 pounds of pure love.  As intimidating as he may seem, Jake is full of fun and love and would make the right home a wonderful pet. Jake would do best in a home with no children, or older children just because of his size (he could knock smaller children over pretty easily simply due to his size). However, he is very gentle and is looking for the proper, loving home.

You can find out more about Jake and all of the adoptable pets at the Humane Society on their website, or by calling 616-453-8900.

Nicole also mentioned that they are teaming up with Grand Rapids Civic Theater and their next production, “Legally Blonde”. The Humane Society will be at opening night, Friday, May 31st, in the lobby with many pets who are up for adoption.  The exciting thing is, you will be able to adopt them right there, and pick up your new pet the next day at the Humane Society.
