Meet Jim Bob the Puppy ~ Christine's Pet of the Week

Jim Bob is an adorable black retriever mix puppy from Mississippi. He's 3-months-old and loves to wrestle with other dogs during the day and snuggle at night. He's currently up for adoption at the Humane Society of West Michigan.

Long Term Dog Special (through Friday 9/20)

HSWM has many dogs that have been in their care for more than 30 days (long term) that are in desperate need of a home. Living in a kennel for months is stressful, loud, and can never take the place of a loving home. To help get them where they need to be, they are having an adoption special on all long term dogs through Friday 9/20. All long term dogs will be FEE WAIVED!

Bark in the Dark (Saturday 10/5, Riverside Park)

Tickets are available now for the Seventh Annual Bark in the Dark in Riverside Park! The best dog-friendly night in town features a glow in the dark 5k/1 mile fun run, dog costume contest, local beverages, photo booth, and more!
Bark in the Dark is HSWM's second-largest annual fundraiser. HSWM is a 100% donor-funded organization that wouldn't be able to provide the services it does without your support. Please consider attending Bark in the Dark as a fun way to show your commitment to helping animals in your community!
