Sammi stopped by from the Humane Society of West Michigan today and brought along Kahn with her, a 2-year-old Boxer/American Staffy mix. When Sammi described Kahn she pretty much described the perfect dog.

She said that Kahn loves people and has a great personality and he also does great with children. But not only that, he gets along really well with other dogs. On top of all these great qualities, Kahn has a very pretty brindle grey/caramel coat.

Kahn, is heart worm positive which means he has an additional $100 adoption fee to cover treatment. Don't let this stop you from adopting, though. Heart worm is very treatable and Kahn would make a great dog in any kind of home!

Next Monday, 12/5, the Humane Society of West Michigan will be holding an adoption event at the Woodland Mall from 3-6 p.m. People will be able to adopt dogs on site during that time.

Also, yesterday was Giving Tuesday but that doesn't mean you still can't give to the

Humane Society of West Michigan

humane society. For every donation given to the HSWMi, Sheldon Cleaners is matching that. The shelter is 100% donor funded so whatever type of donation you can make is highly appreciated. The Humane Society is so close to reaching their goal of $5,000 and with your help that goal can be obtained!

Throughout the holiday season keep the Humane Society of West Michigan in mind. You can donate by writing a check or directly donating on their website here.
