If I fell in love with these two nuggets instantly, so will you!

Brothers, Leo and Louie, are 5 month old kittens who were just transferred to the Humane Society of West Michigan from another shelter in the south. I was holding Leo in my arms the entire time he was here and he nested in my arms and wouldn't stop purring. You can't go wrong with either one of these cute, cuddly and precious kittens.

If you've  been thinking about adopting a pet February is a good month to do so

Humane Society of West Michigan

because the Humane Society of West Michigan is having a month long My Furry Valentine special on adult cats and rabbits. Both animals have their fees waived until the end of February.

If you're more of a dog person, starting on February 14th and going through the 19th, adult dogs (5 months and older) are only $50! Normally, dogs are $175 to adopt so you'll be saving a lot.

If you're still looking for something to do on Valentine's Day, the Grand Rapids Ballet is holding a performance of 'Black & White: Swan Lake' but on that night 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society of West Michigan. But, not only will you get an awesome show from the ballet but you'll also get to play with dogs before the show and during intermission. Staff members from the Humane Society will be on site to answer any questions you may have regarding pet adoptions. You can find more info about Pas & Paws and tickets here.
