Raja is an 8-year-old dog who was recently brought back to the Humane Society of West Michigan and is looking for a new family to love.
She's a female Staffie Mix and was originally adopted in 2016 but was returned this past month because her previous owners unfortunately were not able to take care of her anymore. Since she's older she spends a lot of time napping in her kennel, but once she is out she has great energy. She loves people, loves checking in with you, loves a good scratch, knows sit, and has an irresistible smile. Raja should go to a home with older respectful children and no other dogs or cats.
If you love animals and want to help, The Humane Society of West Michigan is looking for volunteers, specifically adoption counselors on the weekends. This entails helping people find their animal love-connection.
And as always, since the HSWM is 100% donor funded, donations are always appreciated. This can be in the form of a financial donation or items the shelter can use such as blankets, toys, food, cleaning supplies, etc. Item donations can be made through Amazon.com. You can get more info here.
Summer camp registrations are still open and run through August. Ages 5-17. Register here.
