Every week, the folks from the Humane Society of West Michigan stop by with a new furry friend to be named as Wendy's Pet Of The Week. Now, I love all pets, but I'm not ashamed to say that this week's pet of the week might be my favorite that I've met so far.

Trudy Ender, Executive Director of the Humane Society, dropped by with Rango, and he's quite the character.

As always, Trudy brought Rango along in hopes of finding him a home. I don’t think she has anything to worry about. Everyone here at the office fell in love with him almost immediately.

Rango is a year and a half old, Basset Hound mixed with a little Pit Bull. He has these little, stubby legs of his make him one cute and loveable dog. He would be good for anyone adding to their family, though would do better in a home with kids 6-years-old and older.

This coming Monday night is the Humane Society’s annual fundraiser, Paws, Claws & Corks, in the Steelcase Ballroom at DeVos Place.  It’s going to be great time! For tickets and complete information, just click on our link.
