Every Wednesday, the folks from the Humane Society of West Michigan stop by and bring me a new friend to be named as “Wendy’s Pet Of The Week”. This week, I got to hang out with Rocky!

Heather, the new Community Events Coordinator for the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Rocky in to visit. Rocky is a 4-month-old Husky/Lab mix, and in need of a good home. He came to the Humane Society with several dogs from Alabama (you probably saw all of the talk about the puppies on the news). He’s loving and full of puppy energy. Rocky is also a tripod. In other words, he was born with only three legs, missing his right, hind leg. Rocky doesn't let it slow him down one bit, though.

Heather also thanked the Bissell foundation for supporting an addition to their Cattery. They are out of room to handle the influx of cats coming to the shelter, so thanks to Bissell, the new addition will be going up soon.

For more information on adopting, visit the Humane Society’s website or call (616) 453-8900.
