Every Wednesday, the folks from the Humane Society of West Michigan stop by and bring me a new friend to be named as “Wendy’s Pet Of The Week”. This week, I got to hang out with Snickers!

Snickers is a seriously cute and affectionate Dachshund. Snickers is 7-years-old and was surrendered to the Humane Society by her previous owner. Snickers would probably do better in a home with a bit older children, if there are any. Because of her age, she’s a member of the Silver Paws Program, meaning that she is free to the right owner. You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or by calling 616-453-8900.

Tammy also said the Humane Society is having a pet adoption special party this Saturday, September 20, at Anthropologie at Breton Village Mall, Breton and Burton, SE. They will have several dogs available for adoption from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
