Babies born at Holland Hospital have been going home with handmade baby hats since 1988. Meet a few of the women who make the tradition a reality.

The women meet once a week. It's usually for about an hour, but it can go longer depending on how it goes and what's on TV.

One of the women has been knitting for 85 years. She says it's very "calming and soothing."

Another volunteer says it gives her "a feeling of satisfaction" when she sees a baby wearing one of the hats she made.

A kind gesture and a great tradition at Holland Hospital.
