Miley Cyrus Honors 10th Anniversary of ‘Hannah Montana’ in a Very Miley Way

Today, March 24, 2016, signified a very special day. It's been 10 years since the first episode of Hannah Montana premiered on Disney Channel.

10 years!! 10 years ago we were introduced to a sweet, young girl named Miley Cyrus. She was living the best of both worlds, as Miley and as Hannah. But since the show ended, in 2011, Miley has done everything she possibly can to show us she's not that sweet Disney girl we all grew to love. She's a care-free, weed-smoking, pastie-wearing hippy Miley. And Hannah Montana as we know, is no more.

Miley wrote honored the 10th anniversary by writing a tribute on her Instagram page, rocking a blonde wig and all.

She sent love to her former cast members and everyone who's contributed to the show but also acknowledged that she feels "disconnected" to the person she was at that time.

But this is how we really know that Hannah Montana is gone for good

Even though HM is chopped up into little tiny pieces and buried in my backyard..."

WHAT?! But she does say that Hannah holds a very special place in her heart. Ours too, Miley.
