Shopping at Target just got a whole lot better...or maybe worse depending on how much time and money you end up spending there. It‘s definitely going to be more glamorous, though.

Earlier this week, Target announced the Ulta Beauty experience is coming to their stores in 2021. Target’s CEO said in statement that they “couldn’t be happier” about the collaboration.

The new shop-in-shop destination will complement our popular, wide-ranging beauty assortment with a new curation of established and emerging prestige brands.

Ulta will start popping up at Target stores next year at 100 of their locations. It’s unknown what ones yet but they say they plan on expanding the concept overt hundreds more over the years.

They will be conveniently located near Target’s beauty section so you can take care of all your hair, beauty, and fashion needs in one stop. Okay, one loooong stop but one nonetheless.

The products featured at the mini shops will include exclusive and higher-end brands not currently sold at Target.

Beauty enthusiasts can stop here regularly to discover new limited-edition products and show-stopping capsule collections

Inside of these mini-sized Ulta’s will be GlamLabs which will give customers an opportunity to safely test products before purchasing. Trained specialists specifically for this will be running the spaces to assist shoppers.

The Ulta section will also be available to shop online with options for same day services.

I consider all of this as a Bullseye!

The layout still needs to be finalized but you can see an early rendering below.

Target already does something similar with their Starbucks shops at the front and CVS Pharmacy.
