Modernistic Mom Nominee – Sherry

I am 28 years old, and was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in January of this year (2011). Currently, I have completed chemotherapy, had surgery to remove the cancer, and now I am going through radiation. I have 4 children (ages 6, 4, and a set of 1 1/2 yr old twins) and due to some "issues" I would rather not get into, I am living with my parents with all 4 of my children. As you can imagine, the kiddos pretty much "run our house" and having so many people here, the carpets are HORRIBLE!!! lol.

My parents do everything and anything they can for me and my kids. They love us all so much and going through what we all have went through this past year, clean carpets would be a small gesture, but would mean the world!!! I would love to give them a clean house to help out a little, since I am not "up to par" on my health and kind of, for lack of a better term have been "slacking" in my share of the house hold duties. I would love to surprise my mom with a clean house! I feel like it would be a huge thank you to her and my father, and I could show them how much I really appreciate EVERYTHING they do for me and my kids.

Please consider her to be one of the candidates for this contest. I don't know how you choose, because there are so many wonderful women who deserve this, but I feel like my mom has given so much to me, I would love to show her how much I appreciate her by doing this for her!!!
