Muskegon Girl Sylvia Yacoub Advances On ‘The Voice’ [Videos]

Muskegon has a new hometown hero on national television!  Sylvia Yacoub is a contestant on "The Voice" and she just made the cut.  Sylvia performed Rihanna's "Only Girl in the World"  to a roaring crowd on tonight's episode of "The Voice."

Sylvia got great feedback from all the judges but she chose to join Christina Aguilera's squad.  Sylvia will now continue to compete to become the next winner of "The Voice."

Sylvia has always been singing and she already has a small YouTube following.  Below you will find a video of Sylvia Yacoub singing an original song for her senior class in 2011.  She was a student at Mona Shores High School.
