Muskegon Summer Celebration, presented by DTE Energy, announced seven more Headline Artists for the 2011 event, June 30 through July 9.  In addition to previously released artists Pop Evil (July 1) and Trey Songz (July 9) will be Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, Charlie Daniels, Aaron Lewis, The Goo Goo Dolls, Michelle Branch, and Parachute.

Returning to the Summer Celebration on Thursday, July 7, will be the Goo Goo Dolls. After releasing Something for the Rest of Us last August, lead singer John Rzeznick is already hinting work has started on a new album.  Some of their past hits include “Name,” “Iris,” “Black Balloon,” “Broadway,” “Give a Little Bit,” “Here is Gone,” “Better Days,” and “Stay with You.” Also on the Goo Goo Dolls tour is Michelle Branch. Rounding out the tour is Parachute. The've had a whirlwind three year career which includes tours with Kelly Clarkston and Plain White T’s.

Theory of a Deadman will headline on Sunday, July 3. They've released three studio albums to date (Theory of a Deadman, Gasoline, and Scars and Souvenirs) and is planning to release number four, The Truth Is… on July 12.  Opening for Theory of a Deadman will be Skillet.

On Wednesday, July 6, Country Legend, Charlie Daniels, appears for the first time at the Summer Celebration.

Aaron Lewis, lead singer of Staind will be opening for The Charlie Daniels Band. Aaron released Town Line on March 1 of this year which marked his first foray into Country Music.

Tickets for these three shows go on sale this Saturday, May 7, at 9:00 AM through Star Tickets. Prices for all of these shows are $25 for general admission, $35 for a limited number of reserved seats in a special section approximately 150 feet from the stage called Middle Reserved, $55 for Premier Seating on the left hand side of the stage (stage left), and $60 for a new special section in the front of the venue on the right hand side (stage right) called Front Reserved. This new section will have assigned seats and there will be no patrons between this section and the barrier.  These prices are valid through June 1 when prices increase to $30, $40, $60, $65 respectively.  Youth tickets (ages 6-12) are $10 for general admission and $10 plus the upgrade price for specialty seating.  Children 5 and under are free.
