A friend was just telling me his dad visits McDonald's every single morning, without fail, for his senior discounted coffee and breakfast burrito.

Well, aside from meal discounts, seniors in Michigan could be getting a break on parking fees too, according to WZZM-13.

A new bill introduced in the state senate last week would provide free parking to anyone age 75 or older.

Seniors would get a free parking sticker from the Secretary of State, allowing them to park at metered spaces or in public ramps and lots at no cost.

Currently the bill has been referred to the Senate Transportation Committee.
