Actually, the study showed that having two beers will actually save you about 160 calories over having 2 glasses of red wine.

Here's the kicker. The study was sponsored by the beer industry so you really should not get too excited because you never know how the study was influenced.

The study concluded that having beer in moderation will not be bad for your health or weight. However having too much of anything will make you gain weight. This is true for beer, wine and even juice.
