Ottawa County’s Top Dog Names Revealed
Ottawa County's top dog names of 2011 have something in common with West Michigan's top baby names of 2011.
I'm not sure this is a good thing.
Call me old fashioned, but I like when you can tell if a living creature is human or canine from first name alone.
No offense to Randy Jackson.
Human-sounding dog names cause unnecessary confusion. What if someone says: "Sophie was running after the bus this morning". Was Sophie was late for school? Did Sophie break her leash? Should I be concerned?
I prefer dog names to sound like dog names and human names to sound like human names, but it appears I am in the minority.
