Police Ask for Help Finding Kent County Booze Thief

The Kent County Sheriff's Department is asking for help finding a man wanted for stealing large quantities of liquor from local retailers.

According to the Departments post to Facebook, the suspect's name is Wade Thomson.

Thompson is currently wanted by the US Marshal Service and the Michigan Department of Corrections for violating parole, Wood TV 8 reports. His previous charges include retail fraud and felonious assault.

Kent County Police say he's been stealing large amounts of liquor, adding up to around $250 each time.

If you see Mr. Thomson, call 911. Police say you should not try to apprehend him, "as he has been known to evade apprehension with no regard for the safety of others."
