Stephanie Lipscomb was a normal college student and training to become a nurse until she started having awful headaches.  The headaches were caused by a cancerous brain tumor.

She had the tennis ball sized tumor removed, but it came back.  There didn't look like much hope until, Duke University offered to let her become the first test subject for a new treatment, before even knowing what it was, she agreed.  The treatment was having a modified version of the Polio virus injected into the tumor and is now cancer free.

This is just incredible and so inspiring, and she tells WYFF 4 in Greenville that surviving this makes her feel like there is so much more to life.
