I was just talking about 'Diners, Drive In's and Dives' earlier today, and funny enough, this local eatery was featured on the show shortly before it closed for business. Rosie's Diner located on 14 mile near Rockford went up for bid this morning. The first bid was for 25,000 and was up to 125,500 as of 11am. The auction will close at 5 p.m. today, and you can make a bid yourself by clicking here.

The Rosie’s Dining Car has not always been in Michigan, it came over from New Jersey back in 1991. Other than appearing on 'Triple D', the diner was in a few TV commercials for Bounty paper towel with “Rosie the Waitress,” using the catch phrase the "quicker picker-upper.”

The restaurant closed down last October and is now up for grabs to the highest bidder, I can't wait for this place to be revived once again... and hopefully here in West Michigan.
