I'm ashamed to admit that I have responded the same way that the woman, in the video you're about to see, responded when she saw a group of soldiers at the airport.

By the end of this must see clip, I was in tears and convicted to learn how to say 'thank you' in sign language!  I am and always have been proud of our military.

What they do day-in-and-day-out to protect our freedoms is more than awesome.   My brother-in-law is a retired naval Commander.  I'm super proud of him, and my friends Gerry and Tom who both toured in Iraq, twice.

Would you join me on this National Day of Prayer to lift up our country and troops in prayer?

Take time today to watch this dedication to our brave and strong military!

Today, President Obama visits ground zero in New York to acknowledge the death of the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks.  Former President Bush who started the initiative to end terrorism and fight the war on terror in 2001 will not attend the ceremony.

Bush's spokesperson said, "President Bush will not be in attendance on Thursday.  He appreciated the invite, but has chosen in his post-presidency to remain largely out of the spotlight.  He continues to celebrate with Americans this important victory in the war on terror."
