Samuel L. Jackson really knows how to make anything sound cool!

Last night on Jimmy Fallon's 'The Tonight Show,' Jackson performed a slam poem saluting the '90s favorite sitcom, 'Boy Meets World' and for fans of the show, his homage was pretty spot on.

The co-star of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' stood before the audience on a dimly lit set, took one puff of a cigarette and began his poem about the ABC TGIF family sitcom starring Ben Savage as Corey Matthews; Rider Strong as his best friend, Shawn Hunter; and Danielle Fishel as Corey's girlfriend and eventual wife, Topanga.

With a serious face and his signature assertive tone, Jackson began:

"Boy meets world.

Boy greets world.

Hello, world! I am Cory Matthews.

Short and average, head full of curls.

The year? 1993.

We see two boys who lack both brains and brawn.

Cory Matthews and Hunter

Or Hunter comma Shawn."

We highly recommend checking out the rest of the clip since if you're going to have to sit through a poem about 'Boy Meets World,' who better to hear it from than Samuel L. Jackson?

'Boy Meets World' will continue on as 'Girl Meets World,' a new family show set to debut later this year on The Disney Channel. 'Girl Meets World' will bring back Savage and Fishel as adult parents raising their 12-year-old daughter, Riley, played by Rowan Blanchard. Other cast members from the original show are expected to appear in guest spots.
