It's rare for children with hearing loss to have an opportunity to communicate with Santa, but Santa and his elves will bring a unique cultural experience to children in West Michigan on Saturday.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services is hosting Signing Santa at Northview High School from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, in the high school cafeteria.

All children and families are welcome to attend and visit with Sign Language Santa, regardless of their hearing status.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services has been serving Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas since 1996. They fill thousands of interpreter assignments each year. They provide American Sign Language classes, cultural awareness and sensitivity training, and other educational opportunities.
