A student in Georgia is unable to attend school today because of a message he posted on Facebook that was construed as "threatening". John George was very excited to dress up as Santa Claus the day before their Christmas break at his high school and hand out candy canes. He was so excited, in fact, that he went to his Facebook page and posted that every should "expect a big surprise" at school. Well, some students took that as a threat and reported what they saw to the principal and they took immediate action before getting the whole story. After John George told his side the principal still took the action of giving him a suspension.

What do you think? Were the principal's actions inappropriate? Comment below and let us know?
