There are two things ArtPrize Eight is not short on: surprises and fish. The Public Vote Final 20 includes entries featuring trout and sturgeon as subject matter.

The sixth annual Michigan Adventure Race: ArtPrize Edition will be held Saturday, October 8 in Grand Rapids. The race will wind through ArtPrize and feature both mental and physical challenges.

IlaSahai Prouty's "Paper Bag Test - Grand Rapids" invites visitors to ArtPrize Eight to share their thoughts about race and identity.

Zimoun's entry into ArtPrize Eight has one of the longer names of this fall's competition, "250 prepared ac-motors, 325kg roof laths, 1.0km rope." It's also one of the loudest entries with 250 motorized wood beams repeatedly striking the floor at SiTE:LAB on Rumsey Street.
