Nick Carter and Jordan Knight, members The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block respectively, are teaming up to record an album and tour together, they said in an announcement on “Good Morning America" this morning.

It may be 2014 but the '90s rivalry of Backstreet Boys vs. *NSYNC has been briefly resurrected through a war of words started by *NSYNC alum Joey Fatone. Yesterday, Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter took to Twitter to respond to Fatone's comments.

I love all boybands equally. Okay, I can't really say that. I prefer the New Kids over the rest of them, but only because they were my first boyband loves. I don't love them so much more than the Backstreet Boys that I would beat up a BSB member's little brother on the street over it, though. But, that's exactly what happened in Boston over the weekend.
