For quite a while now, we've been asking you to send in the names and stories of kids doing great things in the community to nominate them to be a Channel 95-7 Community Kid. One of our very first Community Kids, Maggie Hartman, came in to visit today (and claim her $50 Meijer gift card), and we gave her a little tour of the station.

Alexis Clay just turned 17 this March, but has already done a ton of wonderful things for her community, the state of Michigan, and across the country. Alexis has gone on several mission trips helping build Habitat For Humanity homes, repairing homes, churches and schools in some of the neighborhoods that need it the most.

Maggie Hartman from Hudsonville is only seven years old, but she's already well on her way to making a big difference in the world. A few years ago she decided to start selling bouquets of flowers that she picked and use the money to buy Christmas gifts for less-fortunate kids.  She even has her own roadside stand!
