Gilda's Laughfest

LaughFest 2016 is off to a hell of a start! This is my first LaughFest and so far it has been amazing! On Sunday night, I had the chance to see Marlon Wayans along with Deray Davis & Finesse Mitchell at the DeVos Performance Hall.

There's no doubt about it, Grand Rapids is an awesome city. We've got lots of attractions and fun things always going on, we're a family friendly city and appeal to the younger crowd as well. Grand Rapids has A LOT to offer so no wonder why we make so many "best of" lists...

The one, the only, the Queen of D-List Celebrities is coming to Grand Rapids for Laughfest 2016!  Kathy Griffin joined Connie and Curtis this morning to talk about her upcoming show at DeVos Performance Hall on March 14th.  Kathy is a midwestern girl who loves doing shows here in Michigan...

Lavell Crawford has canceled his Gilda's LaughFest appearance for Wednesday night because of a movie he's currently filming, festival officials announced this morning. The cancellation of his appearance at Fountain Street Church is because of a change in the production schedule for the film "Meet the Blacks."

A paper crown-capped world record was part of the agenda at the Gilda's LaughFest Community Kickoff. While the world mark set last July didn't tumble, the throngs at Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids more than made up for it in spirit, energy, effusiveness and antics Thursday night.

Gilda’s LaughFest today announced plans to kick off this year’s festival by going after another Guinness World Record on March 5 for the most people wearing paper crowns. LaughFest runs March 5 to 15 at venues in Grand Rapids, Ada, Holland and Lowell.
