As Christmas gets nearer, there are a lot of holiday activities this weekend in West Michigan. There are also some sporting events, concerts, Menorahs, films, skating shows, some fat tire biking, reindeer, and maple syrup and pancakes. Have Fun!

It looks like winter has arrived in Michigan this weekend! There are several indoor events this weekend to help keep you warm...sporting events, stage performances, book signings, and a Record and CD show. If you feel like venturing outdoors we have a walk/run and a chance to see how the pioneers celebrated the holidays.

This first weekend of December will feature Christmas lights, music, animals, a bar crawl, an open house, ballet and an implosion! Something for all!

Now that everyone is stuffed from Thanksgiving dinner, it’s time to get out there and burn off some of those calories. Here are 10 things you can do this weekend around West Michigan.

Don't forget to "Fall Back" this weekend. We officially go back one hour on Sunday morning at 2 am. Along with going around the house to set all your clocks, there are still plenty of other activities in the West Michigan area this weekend.

The Detroit Red Wings have signed Martin Frk to a one-year deal worth $650,000. It was a year of ups and downs for Frk. At the beginning of the season, Detroit released Frk and was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Hurricanes. He was then released after two games with Carolina and re-claimed by the Red Wings...

Congratulations to the Grand Rapids Griffins! Yes, we know they won the Calder Cup this year, way to go, but they also won another special award. Their’ “LEGO – I Wanna Drive the Zamboni” video won a Golden Matrix Award for Best Music Video at the 2017 Information Display and Entertainment Association (IDEA) conference, held this week in Philadelphia, competing against the NHL and NBA!
