There is a huge potential this week for flooding along the Grand River.  So far in April, our area is over 3 inches ABOVE the average monthly rainfall of 1.65 inches. The forecast for Thursday calls for rain in the morning and storms by afternoon, which could give us an additional 3 inches of rain...

I hope you enjoyed the warm sunshine we had on Easter Sunday, like I did, because it may have been our only break from bad weather for another long stretch of time! Starting today through Thursday we are expected to get at least two inches of rain that may cause flooding along the Grand and Thornapple Rivers.
