Restaurant Week GR continues through the weekend. We have a Greek Festival, a Block Party, Find Your Roots, Catch a Baseball Game, Go ORVing for Free, Enjoy some Comedy, Visit the Princesses at the Zoo, Catch some Jazz Music, and Swim with your Dog! You are going to have a busy weekend!
Restaurant Week GR is underway! There are also a few festivals going on this weekend. It’s the Anniversary of Gerald R. Ford being sworn in as our 38th President, so it’s a reason to celebrate at the Presidential Museum. We also have Concerts, Comedy, Movies, Baseball, and Super Party Wonder Day!
Ok, ok, so APPARENTLY, I'm not very good at this.
For Restaurant Week, I decided to go with Fish's wife Alicia to Gravity Taphouse Grille (because I love it!)
We had an AWESOME Girl's Lunch - BUT! Their yummy braised beef Restaurant Week special didn't start until 4pm and we were there at noon, sooooooooooooooo...
Being new to town, a “date night” with my wife Alicia is a must. We love amazing food and wine as well as a unique atmosphere. Other cities do Restaurant Week, so when we were told that Grand Rapids had it, we were pumped. Restaurant Week is a chance for you to step into beautiful high end restaurants in the area and sample the best of what they have to offer...
Boy oh boy did I get lucky with this one. For Restaurant Week, 2015 I got the honor to go to Rose's on Reeds Lake. I wasn't the ONLY one who got lucky though... I took a friend of mine along with me, because she had never (GASP!) been to Rose's! Can you imagine?? Neither could I.
This has to be one of my favorite weeks of the year! I mean what could better than a 3 course meal for 28 bucks at an amazing restaurant!
Last night I had the pleasure of going to Cork Wine and Grille and let me tell you I left so full it was insane.
My very first Restaurant Week and it was awesome! I had the opportunity to attend Acorn Grille at Thousand Oaks Golf Club. It was a really nice place and I felt fancy-schmancy. For starters let me just say it was really hard not to order off the regular menu because there were so many options and it looked so good, but I had to stick to order of business and order off the Restaurant Week menu...
