WZZM is reporting that a man was shot early this morning (Saturday) in the Kentwood area.
The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. near an apartment complex by Forest Creek Court. A man is currently in serious condition after being hit in the leg and in the head. Officers say he was shot by his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend following a dispute.
Both directions of I-94 are closed between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek because of a multi-vehicle crash involving semi-trucks.
The interstate is closed between Galesburg and Climax, WZZM-13, Michigan State Police and the Michigan Department of Transportation report.
The weekend brought us plenty of rain, enough to melt away all the snow. WZZM 13 reports that more snow is on the way. A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect this afternoon around 4 p.m. for Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, Newaygo, Montcalm, Mecosta, Oceana, Mason and Lake Counties.

Brooke Slocum, 18, and Charles Oppenneer, 25, were killed last week. Slocum's soon-to-be born baby also died.
