Taylor Swift paid tribute to local rockers at her show in New Jersey this week, and performed an acoustic medley of hits featuring Bon Jovi’s classic, ‘Livin’ On a Prayer.’

She started out by playing the chorus of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Dancing in the Dark.’ Next came ‘Livin’ On a Prayer,’which the crowd happily sang along with. Naturally, that led into Taylor’s own song ‘You Belong With Me.’ Check out the video after the jump!

It looks like the this local artist spotlight is becoming a normal thing at her concerts. Last week in Toronto, she covered songs by Canadian artists, including Justin Bieber and Alanis Morissette. People say she's been sounding good on this tour, which is promising considering her recent bout with bronchitis.

I can't wait to see what kind of local flavor Taylor will bring to her Grand Rapids show Thursday July 28th at Van Andel arena! Eminem? Bob Seger? What famous Michigan musicians would you like to see Taylor cover?
