The Best & Worst Pizza Toppings

What's your favorite thing to put on a pizza?

The website Thrillist ranked 26 pizza toppings, in order and the number 1 choice was... Basil. Kind of random but their reasoning is pretty spot on.

...a simple aromatic herb that brings out the natural sweetness of the tomatoes, doesn't hog the spotlight from the dairy, and makes an otherwise unhealthy meal taste like something that will make you live forever."

So true! It's personally one of my favorite toppings. I'm definitely a fan of the Margherita pizzas.

Of course, pepperoni was next in line for the best topping. Anytime you ask someone what they want on their pizza, the majority say pepperoni.

These are the top 10 pizza toppings:

8. Roasted Bell Pepper

The worst topping, however, was HAM. Even though I'm not a fan of ham, myself, this kind of surprised me. I would've chosen mushrooms (#15) or pineapple (#18).
