The Most Common Languages in America

You probably could have guessed already that the most common language in America is English, with Spanish following closely behind. But did you know that the most commonly spoken language in Michigan is Arabic? Or Polish in Illinois?

The American Community Survey, the Census Bureau has put together a map that highlights the most common languages spoken in each state.
