Channel 957 Competes in Food For Families Supermarket Sweeps to Feed the Hungry in Grand Rapids

Steve, Jerry Noble and I took on teams from our sister stations, WZZM, Access, and other sponsors this morning in “Supermarket Sweeps” for the WZZM’s Food for Families food drive.  It got pretty intense at the Lake Michigan Drive Family as we dashed through the aisles to see who could collect the most items in 5 minutes. And what’s awesome is that all the food we collected will go to Access– who distributes it to pantries in West Michigan. The collection runs through Monday– find out how you can help!
