McDonald's is universally known. It is the one, if not the biggest, fast-food chain in the world. But have you ever wondered the story behind the successful franchise?

The Founder tells that story. Michael Keaton plays Ray Kroc, the man who turned McDonald's into a billion-dollar franchise. In the trailer, you see Kroc, a milkshake-machine salesman, meet the two brothers who started McDonald's. Kroc is so impressed with what they have "revolutionized" and he is determined to take it over.

McDonald's can be the new American church... and it ain't just open on Sunday's."

He eventually maneuvers his way into the company and brings that statement to life.

The movie is directed by John Lee Hancock who also directed The Blind side.

The Founder will hit theaters August 5th.

Below is the brilliant movie poster.
